Who gets a black eye at church?

The Haymores are now in Chicagoland

We moved from Waukesha, WI to Chicago at the end of July.  We haven't done a lot of exploring in our new area yet, but hopefully we can check things out soon.

So, we were at church today and the kids were a little hyper going into the chapel.  We were a few minutes early, but still had to sit in the overflow.  Julia decided to run to the end of our row and run down the row behind us.  She tripped and hit her face on the leg of a folding chair, and is going to have a doozie of a black eye.  I'll post pics soon.

Family Pictures

We hadn't had family pictures taken since Julia (yes, Julia) was born.  So before we moved from Wisconsin we got pictures done.  The girls did okay, but were so tired of taking pictures after about 5 minutes.  I was pleasantly surprised at how they turned out.

Quick, she's not crying!!

Our three little princesses
I don't know if we got Claire to smile the entire time, she was having a rough day!

Claire 6 weeks old

Julia 2 1/2 years old

Hailey 4 (almost 5) years old
This is what our life is like, someone always chasing someone else!
They love their Dad!

Sometimes they are a little bit clingy!

Hailey's first day of Kindergarten

Hailey was really excited to go to kindergarten-- the bus ride, her classroom, eating lunch at school, recess... When we found out we were moving to Chicago instead of Atlanta we also found out that Hailey would be going to half day kindergarten.  She was a little disappointed she wasn't going to be eating lunch at school, and since they are only there a few hours, she doesn't even have recess.  I think the bus ride is her favorite part of the day.

The Binki Fairy

Julia has been in love with binkis since the day she was born.  We have been talking to her about the binki fairy coming for a while, but she was not a fan.  Last week I was talking to her about it and she said that the binki fairy was coming that night.  So, we took her to Target to find a toy she wanted the binki fairy to bring and she picked out a Dora backpack.  Richard helped her make an envelope to put all her binkis in, and they decorated it together.

Notice she is holding out until the very end, getting every last suck possible.

There are probably 10 binkis in there!

One last look...

See you later, Binkis!

She has done pretty well without her binkis. She has the hardest time in the mornings when she first wakes up. A few times a day she steals Claire's binki, goes and hides in some corner or under a chair, and sucks away until someone finds her.

Cute Claire Pictures

Just measuring how big she is compared to the dolls my mom made me when I was little.  She is just their size!

Such a cutie!

She loves to blow raspberries!

Well, I hope my first blog has been successful.  Hopefully I can get things fine tuned the more I play around with it.
